Amit Bansal is Director – STPINEXT, Director – STPI HQ. He has around 20 years of experience in the Information Technology sector. He has been administering the STP/EHTP scheme and working for promotion of software exports from the country. He has been also working for establishment of new STPI centres for dispersal of IT/ITES industry to Tier-11/111 cities for balanced regional growth. He has been instrumental in providing platforms & forums to IT companies to showcase their achievements, services & products among concerned stakeholders, for ensuring the overall growth of IT sector and to attract foreign investments. Mr. Bansal has earned Master’s Degree in Computer Applications.

Ganesh Nayak K is the Director – STPINEXT, Director – STPI Thiruvananthapuram Directorate which is spread across the State of Kerala and Lakshadweep.
He has an experience of over 25 years in various fields including regulatory function, policy implementation, industry promotion, e-governance, project management and consultancy.

Joined STPI in the year 2001 and held various Scientific & Technological positions in STPI. During tenure in STPI, he was posted in various STPI centres and sub-centres including in Tier II cities. Along with STPI leadership, had contributed immensely for setting up of new centres, creation of entrepreneurship ecosystem, employment generation, etc for IT/ITeS and ESDM sector. He was also a part of a consultation group during formulation of policies and guidelines by Central and State Governments.

Prior to joining STPI, he had worked in private organizations and also has expertise in design & deployment of turnkey projects in the field of Electrical, instrumentation and Telecommunication.
He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from the University of Mangalore in the year 1995.
