India has developed itself into a favorable hub for establishing CoEs or innovation centers for next-generation technologies. In the last few years, many CoEs in emerging technologies have been established in the country with an aim to facilitate research for society and enterprises. In order to build leadership and next wave of budding entrepreneurs in the emerging sectors of technology like Internet of things (IoT), Block Chain, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented & Virtual Reality (AR/VR), ESDM, Data Science & Analytics, Medical Electronics & Healthcare, Gaming & Animation, Machine Learning, Cyber Security etc., Government of India has approved domain specific CoEs of STPI, spread across India. The STPI’s CoEs are set to provide a very robust platform for building a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. These centers of entrepreneurship will look at the entire ecosystem of startups – all the way from state-of-the-art facilities to all-around support to nurture and grow their business. These centers will also serve as a knowledge centers for preparing and empowering potential startups/ entrepreneurs in India through various capacity building measures.
