In India, the automobile industry occupies a prominent place due to its deep forward and backward linkages with several key segments of the economy. With demand in place and strong government push, the stage is set for rapid growth of Automotive: ACES industry in India.

The STPI FinBlue, a Center of Entrepreneurship in FinTech, is organising a start-up Pitchfest funded by the Government of India. This is an initiative, to identify and evaluate promising start-ups in the field of FinTech, that will be hosted in the Incubation facility at STPI Chennai.
This Pitchfest is held in association with TiE Chennai, an organisation that seeks to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation across Tamil Nadu.
FinBlue offers an integrated program to start-ups to scale through its incubation facility by providing access to SandBox, an environment that consists of APIs of different participating banks, NPCI products, Core Banking Software and other enabling services through various stakeholders.

The STPI IoT OpenLab, a Center of Entrepreneurship in IoT Domain a initiative of MeitY, Govt of India is setup in partnership with Arrow Electronics with STPI . This is an initiative, to identify and support promising start-ups in the field of IoT. STPI IoT OpenLab is just not a platform of infrastrcture but a complete support system to enable innovative start-ups to develop disruptive IoT based applications, products & solutions across many business verticals.
CoE- STPI IoT OpenLab aims to support & nurture around 500 start-ups over a period of 5 years. The initiative is expected to contribute to Make-in-India & Digital India programmes of Govt. of India by reducing Electronics imports and recognize value of IP & Technology locally.

The Electropreneur Park, Bhubaneswar is established to promote innovation and entrepreneurship by translating technology ideas and innovation in various disciplines of Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and related fields into products, processes and services for commercial exploitation and encourage application of knowledge for benefit of the society. Eventually the EP would put in place a vibrant and sustainable ecosystem of R&D, design, engineering and innovation in Electronics.
Electropreneur Park , Bhubaneswar is managed by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), with International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT ) Bhubaneswar as the academic partner and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) as the implementation partner.

OctaNE is expected to create direct employment for over 1,250 local youth (in-house units only). Further, direct employment in graduated units is expected to reach over 4,000 by Year-15 on conservative basis. In addition, the local start-ups will be able to avail of good quality incubation facility to start operations – without investing capital for the same.
The proposed incubation facility will be meant mainly for local entrepreneurs, including first generation qualified persons. Local entrepreneurs of the NE Region are still struggling to create their own incubation space and most of them are not in a position to build world class infrastructure to successfully incubate start-ups.

Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Efficiency Augmentation is being setup up by STPI in collaboration with Government of Karnataka and in partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise India Private Limited (HPEIPL) and other industry partners. The Centre of Excellence shall be of international standard which seeks to bring together the international community, Industry to debate, deliberate, act and innovate in both the industry (infrastructure & business transformation) and people development, in order to address technology’s impact on Industry.

As FinTech is one of the emerging industry and continuously growing with the support of government policies, entrepreneurial mindset and capital investments, therefore, the existing start-up & innovation ecosystem in the Gujarat state will be augmented by establishment of FinGlobe CoE at STPI-Gandhinagar by targeting the key priority for economic growth of the state focusing on accelerating the nascent start-ups in the FinTech sector into full fledged companies by providing physical infrastructure, resources, technology support, mentoring, training, funding, marketing etc.
