FinBlue has developed Website and launched Sandbox and Marketplace – each of which are designed for a specific purpose and the scope improvement based on the needs are added frequently. Hence it is necessary to build this capability in the interest of Faster Implementation, Security and usage of internal infrastructure effectively for long-term stability in new technology adaption.

Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Nature of Appointment: The post is proposed to be filled up purely on contract basis for a period of three years which will be renewed on performance basis every year. The appointment shall come to end on the expiry of the contract period.

Web Developer Responsibilities:

  1. Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  2. Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  3. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  4. Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  5. Create and maintain software documentation.
  6. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
  7. Stay plugged into emerging technologies /industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
  8. Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.

Web Developer Requirements:

  1. Educational qualification of the desired candidate: Bachelor of Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology or / Master of Computer application.
  2. Proven Two Years of working experience in web programming.
  3. Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS , Java script.
  4. Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails, XML/XSLT, ASP/Python.
  5. A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
  6. Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
  7. Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
  8. Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
  9. Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
  10. Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
  11. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  12. Content management system (CMS) – WordPress, Drupal etc.
  13. Database: mysql/postgres/oracle with 2 years experience.

Compensation: Up to Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty Thousand Only)based on the Experience and Expertise.

Selection process:

  1. Applications received by the last date shall be screened by a duly constituted Committee. Therefore, applicants are required to go through the eligibility criteria carefully and ascertain themselves regarding their eligibility before applying.
  2. The ‘screened-in’ candidates shall be called for Personal Interview and appear before the Selection Committee at their own cost.
  3. The Candidates, at the time of Personal Interview, must bring their original documents for verification and one set of duly self-attested photocopies of those documents.
  4. The Name of the Applicant in application form must be same as mentioned in the certificate of matriculation. In case the candidate has changed his name subsequent to matriculation, the evidence to that effect should be furnished at the time of interview.

Other general terms & conditions:

  1. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification. Any candidate found canvassing for his candidature will be summarily disqualified.
  2. Experience in the relevant field shall be calculated after attaining the minimum essential qualification(s).
  3. Mere fulfilment of qualifications and experience requirements does not entitle candidates to be called for test and/or interview.
  4. Candidates are advised to upload certificate of their age, educational qualifications, experience etc. while submitting online applications.
  5. In case any candidate found ineligible on any ground after his appointment, his service will be terminated immediately without assigning any reason thereof.
  6. Candidates recommended by the Selection Committee shall be offered the appointment.
  7. Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any false information or submit any document which is defective or fabricated or otherwise commit any act of misconduct in submitting the application form or during the course of recruitment. In case any such case is detected at any stage, the company reserves the right to stop/cancel selection/appointment and take other legal action, as appropriate, against such candidate.
