Job Title: Manager (Administration & Accounting)
Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Nature of Appointment: The vacancy is proposed to be filled-up purely on contract basis for a period of three years which will be renewed on performance basis every year. The appointment shall come to end on the expiry of the contract period.
Age limit: Less than 40 years as on the last date of submission of application. Further, suitable candidates may be given age relaxation.

Eligibility Criteria-
(a) Educational and other qualifications-

  1. Essential: MBA (Finance) and / or Chartered Accountancy or equivalent qualification from a recognized, accredited and reputed institute/university.

(b) Work Experience-

  1. Essential: AIC STPINEXT INITIATIVES is looking to hire an individual with impeccable track record with 3-5 years of overall experience as Manager administrative & accounting with the responsibilities of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations and must also have fair knowledge of productivity tools and digital technologies.

Job Description-

  1. This role requires the candidate to well verse in all aspect of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate would be an young, energetic and hands on professional. The goal is drive the Centre into path of self-sustenance in next few years. The candidate shall be reporting to the COO, Apiary and shall be responsible for healthy financial discipline and flawless management of financial records. Additionally, the candidate shall also act as administrative manager of the Centre. The candidate must also have fair knowledge of productivity tools and digital technologies to perform assigned roles & responsibilities.
      Administrative Responsibilities:
    1. Manage day-to-day operations of the Centre under leadership of the COO, Apiary.
    2. Hire and manage temporary staff as per requirements.
    3. Make administrative arrangements for onboarding of startups and visit of dignitaries.
    4. Make administrative arrangement for conduct of online / onsite training programme such as Master classes / demo day etc as per directives of the COO.
      Accounting Responsibilities:
    1. Safe keeping and accounting of fund allocated to the Centre.
    2. Preparing Budgetary Estimates and taking approvals as per Policy.
    3. Ensure tax compliance as per current regulatory provisions.
    4. Preparing / help startups in preparing the Balance sheet.
    5. Safe keeping of Bills, Invoices & Payment vouchers.
    6. Handling Business Banking responsibilities of the Centre.
    7. Preparing / Help startups in preparing Financial Projections for purpose of Valuation.
      Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
    1. The Manager(Administration & Accounting) in consultation with the COO and STPI Jurisdictional Director/OIC of the respective Centre of Excellence (CoE) shall develop vision, strategy and business model to achieve the objectives of the domain-specific CoE being established by STPI and implemented by AIC STPINEXT INITIATIVES.
    2. The Manager (Administration & Accounting) will closely work with the COO and STPI Jurisdictional Director/OIC of the respective CoE and report to the CEO for implementation of strategy, review and plan for continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

  5. In depth knowledge of financial management, accounting practices, corporate financial laws and risk management practices.
  6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  7. Proficient in use of MS Office and financial management & accounting software(s).
  8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  9. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  10. An analytical mind, comfortable with balance sheets, financial projections, valuations methodology.
  11. CA qualification is a strong advantage.
  12. Familiarity with startup ecosystem is a strong advantage.

Compensation: Maximum fixed and consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) per month. For deserving candidates, the consolidated salary as per industry standards, may be negotiated.

Selection process:

  1. Applications received by the last date shall be screened by a duly constituted Committee. Therefore, applicants are required to go through the eligibility criteria carefully and ascertain themselves regarding their eligibility before applying.
  2. The ‘screened-in’ candidates shall be called for Personal Interview.
  3. The Candidates, at the time of personal interview, must bring their original documents for verification and one set of duly self-attested photocopies of those documents.
  4. The Name of the Applicant in application form must be same as mentioned in the certificate of matriculation. In case the candidate has changed his name subsequent to matriculation, the evidence to that effect should be furnished at the time of interview.

  2. Experience in the relevant field shall be calculated after attaining the minimum essential qualification(s).
